Driving Bioeconomy with Big Data and AI

Bioeconomy is important in Europe, not just because it is worth €2,3 trillion per annum and employs over 18 million people, but also because it is critical for the development of rural areas and the sustainability of the environment. Utilizing Big Data and AI solutions has shown to greatly improve productivity and sustainability. This session will present results in agriculture, forestry, fishery and nutrition and will introduce upcoming research in the field.
