Agriflanders 2019

Agriflanders is a bi-annual fair for and by Flemish agriculture which will take place between 10-13 January, 2019 in Ghent, Belgium.

The main sectors are cattle-breeding in the broad sense of the term, including machinery, seed companies, feed and feed additives, storage building and installation, sale and exhibition of animals, the presentation of herd books, competitions, services and information, government and education, banks, etc.

Schuttelaar & Partners' Agriculture & Fisheries department and our partners ILVO together with IoF2020's WP6 are going to give a data workshop on the 11 Janurary at this event. The workshop will answer the question of what to do with data gathered in the field, from agricultural machinery, milking machines or other devices commonly used in modern agriculture.

Additionally, Jürgen Vangeyte from ILVO and Cristina Micheloni from IoF2020 will hold a symposium about the value of new technologies for innovation in organic farming on 10 January. The symposium addresses the impact of new technologies on the development of organic arable farming and vegetable cultivation.
