17th International Ramiran Conference
This year's Ramiran Conference will focus on the sustainable utilisation of manures and residue resources in agriculture. Standing for "Recycling of Agricultural, Municipal and Industrial Residues in Agriculture Network", RAMIRAN is a research and expertise network dealing with environmental issues relating to the use of livestock manure and other organic residues in agriculture.
Set up by the the Irish Agricultural and Food Development Authority, the Conference will address new cutting edge strategies to improve the efficiency of manure and residue management. The issue will be explored across the full spectrum of research, from theory to implementation and adoption by stakeholders, with a specific emphasis on the following sub-themes:
- Advances in technology
- Crop nutrition
- Gaseous emissions
- Soil and water quality
- Adoption and impact
