Strategies for Success in the Digitization of Agriculture

Modern agriculture is experiencing a revolutionary shift with an increasing use of digital technologies. All parts of the food supply chain are affected by this change, ranging from planting to harvesting and logistics management. At the same time, many digital platforms active in the agriculture sector are fragemented, resulting in poor market penetration towards end-users.

Against this background, the doors are open for interested companies and start-ups to address the current, but also future agriculture challenges, by learning from past mistakes as well as applying best practices. This includes focusing on sector-specific solutions by, for example, developing a software measuring the level of pests in fruits, instead of trying to develop solutions fitting the needs of all agriculture sub-sectors at the same time.
