Interview with Jack van der Vorst

The global food chain is faced with numerous challenges such as loss of fertile soil and issues related to food safety and security. The Internet of Food & Farm (IoF)2020 project has the potential to address these challenges by developing innovative Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and implementing them in practice.

We asked Jack van der Vorst from the Board of Directors of Wageningen University and Research (WUR) to share his views on the impacts of IoF2020, and especially how he sees the project’s role in sharing lessons-learned and developing new, cross-cutting business models for precision agriculture.
