Seminar “Organic Farming, Smart Farming – The value of new technologies for innovation”

The Seminar “The value of new technologies for innovation in organic farming” will take place on 10 January 2019, at Flanders Expo in Ghent, Belgium as part of the Agriflanders agricultural fair.

No entrance card is needed to attend the seminar. Besides trends and challenges for smart farming, new technologies that enable new production systems, smart mechanisation, automation and robotics for arable production, organic farming and new technologies from EU perspectives will be presented, and farmers and speakers will discuss what the new technologies mean for the development of the organic arable and vegetable production – their applicability and the kind of research needed to make organic farming “smarter” in the future.
