Livestock Forum 2018

The Livestock Forum 2018 will be held in Barcelona on 8 – 11 May, at the same time as Foodtech, bringing together experts in animal health and food technology in one place. The focus is on animal health and the optimization of livestock production, to meet the future demand for protein of animal origin and to analyse the impact of the decisions of the final consumer on the production process. Different areas of innovation and technological development are showcasing how the farm of the future might look like.

The topics of this forum centre around following areas:

• Science as an area where the principles of Precision Livestock Farming and antibiotic-free livestock farming are highlighted
• Systems of fully-fledged innovations that contribute to reduce antibiotics use
• Services which provide well-established solutions to increase animal health
• Sensors as new developments that connect the world of ideas with that of reality
