Cooperatives and Innovation – Building the Future of Care in Europe
Against the background of an ageing population and rising care costs in Europe, this two-day event will showcase how cooperatives are reimagining the future of care in Europe through new economic and social models, together with innovative technological solutions.
The workshop will be held in Brussels in the framework of iCareCoops, a collaborative R&D project funded under the Active and Assisted Living programme. The iCareCoops project aims at providing sustainable, ICT-driven solutions to our ageing society’s increasing need for care.
- Day 1 will give participants an overview of local initiatives mobilizing the cooperative model to invent the future of care.
- Day 2 will offer a presentation of the iCareCoops project and conclude the event with a high-level discussion on the future of care in Europe.
